Texting with Veterans United Insurance

When you give us permission to contact you by phone call or text message at a specific phone number, Veterans United Insurance and its affiliates may send a limited number of text messages (SMS or MMS) to pass along information we think will be helpful or informative. You must be 18 years old to participate in any Veterans United Insurance text messaging program.

Veterans United Insurance text messages are a free service offered by Veterans United Insurance to better connect with and provide information to our customers. Text message communications may be recorded, monitored, or analyzed for quality assurance, training, and service improvement purposes. Some text message interactions may be generated or analyzed in part by artificial intelligence (AI). Veterans United Insurance reviews AI-assisted communications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and service quality. When necessary, Veterans United Insurance may securely share message content or related data with trusted third-party service providers who support these functions, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Veterans United Insurance Responsive Text Programs

Veterans United Insurance may respond to an inquiry you have made by text or phone call in order to quickly and efficiently answer your questions or meet your needs.

If you have requested information about insurance, Veterans United Insurance specifically, or any of its products or affiliates’ products through a website, online form, social media platform, or other online advertisement; or if you have responded to a mail inquiry or paper handout or flyer from Veterans United Insurance or its affiliates, Veterans United Insurance may send a text message to confirm your interest or to set up a convenient time to speak with you.

These responsive text messages will not be sent to you unless you have given your written consent to receive them. They are purely informational in nature, attempting to respond to a request you made.

Responsive texts may be followed up by a phone call from a Veterans United Insurance representative.

How to Opt-out of Veterans United Insurance Responsive Texts

By texting the word “STOP”, Veterans United Insurance will opt you out of our text program, but you may still receive the following communications from Veterans United Insurance:

  • A reply text from us confirming your opt-out, and
  • A follow up phone call from a Veterans United Insurance representative;
